EXTERIOR VISIT

On this tour, we begin with the second largest olive grove gardens of the La Menara. Here we stroll around the massive basin of the city. See 19th century pavilion mirrored in still water and the Atlas mountains on the background. Orientation drive outside the city walls takes us to the tanneries ( visit to the tanneries voluntary ). Next, we drive to the botanical Majorelle Gardens : the highlight of the city gardens . A visit to the handicraft school completes the morning tour .( Optional camel rides ).

OURIKA VALLEY

• Marrakech, Morocco

This half-day trip takes us southwards of Marrakech city towards Ourika Valley ,halfway through the fertile plain of Haouz. Stop at the weekly Berber souk (1) held by the locals of the surrounding area .Discover an authentic traditional way of trading and simplicity of daily life . The trip continues along the rivers meandering at the foot of the mountains. See the typical hamlets of basked clay and stones (Ourika is famous for local Pottery).

ASNI-OUIRGANE

Next, to Asni Ouirgane, after climbing up 5000Fts with magnificent view over the mountains. See Mont Toubkal, the highest peak of the N.W Africa (14000Fts). DINER AT ALI MARRAKECH

The Berbers warrior art is the theme of this dinner show under berber tents (Shelter of the great lords of the Atlas during the festivities and festivals). During the dinner, folkloric troops representing many Moroccan regions will march in front of your table. The show bearing the name of the evening: Fantasia, horse racing as was the training of the riders and warriors. You'll be hosted by an escort of horsemen, blue men wearing torches, hostesses welcome you by spreading rose petals...

OUARZAZATE

This trip starts gently through a massive portion of the Haouz plain. Drive through the countryside and fertile landscape, before we climb up to Tizin Tichka pass (6660Fts ). Here semi-desert stretches out with countless KASBAH and dobe homes. A striking contrast of a red clay villages and greenery leads to the beautiful Ouarzazate city, situated on the edge of the massive Sahara desert . Visit the ancient formal residence of the Pasha Glaoui in the heart of TAOURIRT KASBAHS .

ESSAOUIRA

• Marrakech, Morocco

Old Mogador is a large fishing port founded by the Romans and inhabited by the Portuguese from the 17th century. A typical Portuguese harbour with fine examples of both Moorish and Portuguese art. It is one of the most important and oldest fishing ports in Morocco, famous for local wood handicrafts, as there is a large plantation of cedar and pine trees nearby. See the Squala century cannons brought from Spain to protect the city (On our way, visit of one of the famous Camel markets in the country.
